Project Overview
Join a forward-thinking team in the manufacturing industry working on a strategic initiative to modernize procurement through intelligent, data-driven tools. The project operates in agile 3-month development cycles, with each iteration focused on the most valuable use cases. The current phase emphasizes Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to build contextual and high-impact applications that drive procurement performance.
Scope:
- Develop and maintain Python-based tools and microservices focused on procurement data workflows.
- Implement intuitive and responsive web applications using Streamlit, Flask, or Django.
- Integrate and query databases efficiently using PostgreSQL and write optimized SQL.
- Collaborate with data scientists and domain experts to build RAG pipelines.
- Work with Azure OpenAI to deliver LLM-powered solutions for data retrieval and contextual understanding.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Rapidly iterate on prototypes and deliver production-ready applications in short cycles.
Skills:
- Strong programming skills in Python, with a focus on pandas for data analysis.
- Experience developing small web applications (Streamlit, Django, Flask).
- Proficiency in SQL; current tech stack includes PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), particularly with Azure OpenAI.
- Interest or hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile team environment.
