We are seeking a dedicated junior Project Management Officer to collaborate closely with a client based in Berlin, Germany

This is a role where you need to have Fluent level of German and English as well as right to work as a freelancer in Germany.

Workload: Full-time

12 month contract + extensions

Location: Berlin ( 40-50% onsite )

Your responsibilities

As Program Officer, you will play a pivotal role in co-designing program strategies, coordinating activities, establishing documentation standards, managing risks, facilitating communication, handling administrative tasks related to program management, and championing continuous improvement efforts. You will work together with the Program Office Lead to do supporting in strategic decisions and completing administrative tasks

Our requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years as a Project Management Officer or a similar role.
• Proven work experience as a co-project lead or even in a support function.
• Proven knowledge (Methodology, Best Practices) and proven experience in classic project management
• and agile frameworks.
• Experience in the IT-sector, preferably in software delivery and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams) and Atlassian tools (Confluence & JIRA).
• Passion for project management and efficient processes.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Business Informatics).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently.
• Great self-management skills.
• High degree of resilience and conscientiousness.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluent English in speech and writing (at least B2).
• Fluent German in speech and writing (at least B2)
